Following schools visit to the Crucial Crew event from 12^th January to 17^th January 2024, we would like to share our feedback from the Road Safety Teams presentation about wearing seatbelts in the car for every journey.

The road safety team attend Crucial Crew to discuss the dangers and consequences of not wearing seatbelts in all vehicles where seatbelts are always compulsory, no matter how long or short that journey may be.

Overall, the children attending were polite, delightful, listened well and understood the severity of not wearing a seatbelt for all journeys, however a staggering 38% of children admitted that they do not always wear a seat belt for shorter journeys, and some did not wear it at all.
